The ‘Silverberries’ of the Wolf Willow bush are used to make beautiful natural rosaries by the Metis people. Make your own rosary or necklace while learning about the many food, medicine and cultural uses of this beautiful Canadian Prairie plant. Socially distanced workshop – only 6 participants per group.

Beginning with fresh elderberries, we use natural ingredients to create an old and very effective remedy for the cold & flu season. Our syrup is based on a traditional metis formula and uses natural and organic ingredients. Includes recipe, materia medica & bottle of syrup to take home with you. Join us for an afternoon of delights! We begin with a D.I.Y. natural perfumery class with herbal chemist Zoe Lynne, who leads us in the creation of the perfect blend of natural scents to compliment your chemistry & personality. Then, we will sit down to a tea social featuring custom-blended, fresh beverages and crumpets with berries & cream.

Come out to Providence Lane Homestead for a day spent with Kalyn Kodiak, Metis Knowledge Keeper. We will begin with an herb-foraging walk, enjoy a fresh & locally sourced lunch, and create healthy herbal preparations to take home.
