Explore the many edible & medicinal plants of the river valley on this fascinating historical medicine walk lead by traditional Metis Herbalist, Kalyn Kodiak.
Kalyn grew up by the old man river and has been making medicine from the trees, shrubs & berries since 2012. We will discuss the cultural, safety and ecological considerations of wild-harvesting, and talk about how the Metis make and use medicines, clothes and food out of the raw plant material of the valley.
