Summer is the time of flowers, warm sunshine and soft grasses . .
Local Herbalists Kalyn Kodiak & Zoe Lynne take us on another adventure, to visit plant-friends in the forest during their flowering time. The meadows of Kananaskis have some of our favorite flowering plants, and many of these beauties are useful to humans as food and medicine. We’ll discuss traditional uses of the flowers, grasses and trees around us, and hear stories of the plants, animals and land.
A lovely, healthy and delicious lunch will be provided – you can choose your options from the gourmet picnic page. To complete our meal, we will sample 2 special herbal elixirs while we sing a drum song or two. Vegan & GF option available (see the menu here).
$45 is your investment for an afternoon of herbal knowledge-sharing and a magical lunch in the woods! There are only 15 spots available, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
Kananaskis location will be provided 2 weeks before the event, via email, to registered guests.
